Hi everyone,
My name is Amy Charles, I’m 16 years old and super excited about the Mexico mission trip! This will be my first trip and I can’t wait to go out and live God’s plan, especially working with children and spreading the Gospel. I live in Cave Creek, Arizona, about half an hour from where I was born, though we spent a few years living on 25 acres in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado! 🙂 Our family has raised animals for a long time, including llamas, alpacas, goats, chickens, and sheep. Right now we’re not raising animals since we’re pretty busy with activities and my sister has moved out, but I’ve been really involved in my homeschool group, having been homeschooled all my life, my church group at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, and volunteer activities at the local libraries, as a paging assistant and a homework tutor. I’ve always loved helping youth and though I’ve never gone out of the country on a mission then I felt especially called to one this year and I can’t wait for this exciting new chapter of my life!
